Meet Harlie!!!

Harlie is the sweetest little 3 month old!  I was so excited to meet her this weekend when she came to hang out at my studio. It was so fun to capture these images of her!  Seeing how tiny she was, it was so hard to remember that she wasn’t a newborn any more, but really 3 months old!  Her mom told me that she had just graduated out of preemie size clothing just last week!!  She has the prettiest blue eyes and rosebud lips!  Enjoy Harlie’s story!!!

How early was your baby born?  9 weeks

How much did your baby weigh?   2lbs 13oz

(She is now 3 months old and weighs 6 lbs!)

What was the hardest thing that you experienced during this time?

“Leaving her every night in the NICU.”

What was the most wonderful thing that happened during this time?  

“She progressed at a fast rate and e got to take her home only after 3 weeks in the NICU.”

(This is really incredible because typically a preemie will stay in the NICU until their original due date)

What is the most important lesson that you learned throughout your NICU experience?

“To always have faith and hope”

If you could meet any parent of a NICU baby, what advice would you give them?

“The hardest time you go through will be worth it once you go home.”

Now that you are home as a family, what are your favorite things to do?

“We love to go for walks or hang out outside”

Tell us a little about your baby now.  What are her favorite things to do? Favorite things to eat. Funny little quirks that you love.  “She loves her tongue and hands.  She loves apple juice and HATES naps!”
